Michigan was in rare form for The Game vs. Ohio State, and that form transcended the play on the field. In fact, the impeccable decisions of the Wolverines spilled over into the pre-game flyover.

First of all, Michigan Sky Media produced an amazing birds-eye view of the pre-game flyover. The photographer shared the perfectly typed snap on Instagram with a note that coordination with the US Navy and the Boeing P-8 Poseidon pilots went into this shot.

That picture alone is worth framing for fans of the rivalry matchup, but the usage of that specific plane should not go unnoticed. Joe Pompliano noted that Boeing’s P-8 Poseidon is used as a Navy spy plane.

Using that type of aircraft in The Game after the sign-stealing investigation in Ann Arbor is the ultimate troll job from Michigan, and college football fans reacted accordingly:
