Michigan is getting set to take on Maryland in Week 12, and the Wolverines are hopeful to get a key offensive piece back for the game.

Star running back Blake Corum managed just 1 carry in the win over Indiana 2 weeks ago. He was also held out of the win over Penn State.

Fortunately, Hassan Haskins has played well in Corum’s absence, but the team would love to get a full backfield heading into the final two weeks of the regular season. And it appears Corum might be back in action vs. the Terrapins.

According to Aaron McMann with MLive, a spokesperson with the program has indicated Corum is available for the game vs. Maryland. Whether or not he will play remains to be seen, but that is certainly a good sign.

Corum currently ranks second on the team to Haskins with 778 rushing yards and 10 TDs.
