Michigan is off to a 5-0 start this year, including a 38-17 win over Wisconsin this weekend. One of the reasons this year’s team has gotten off to such a fast start is because of the play of quarterback Cade McNamara.

McNamara had the fourth best passer rating under pressure in the country for Week 5, according to Pro Football Focus.

So far this season, the junior has thrown for 731 yards, 5 touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He also has a QBR rating of 75.9, which is 18th in the nation. One of the reasons McNamara has been so successful is because of how he handles pressure.

McNamara is 4th in the nation when it comes to throwing under pressure at 122. 1. Just behind Oklahoma’s Spencer Rattler, Sam Howell of North Carolina, and Sam Hartman of Wake Forrest. Not bad company.

As McNamara goes, so does the Wolverines and as long as he continues to be successful, this club will continue to grow and be successful also.
