Michigan is taking on Florida in the Peach Bowl at noon on Saturday, Dec. 29.
As with seemingly most bowl games nowadays, a select number of players are deciding to skip the exhibition contest entirely, opting to focus on the future. For Michigan, RB Karan Higdon announced on Instagram that he would be skipping the Peach Bowl:
The senior tailback has rushed 224 times for 1,178 yards and 10 TD this season. He is also the third known Michigan player to elect to skip the Peach Bowl, joining DE Rashan Gary and LB Devin Bush.
Higdon has accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl, which is set to take place on Jan. 26.
Higdon will likely make his next move to the NFL, where ESPN’s Mel Kiper has the 5-foot-10, 202-pound prospect eighth among RBs eligible for the 2019 NFL Draft.
