Michigan has gotten a little thinner at running back.
A University of Michigan spokesperson confirmed that running back Kurt Taylor is parting ways with the program. According to NBC Sports, Taylor has “decided to leave the team and pursue a transfer.”
While he did not directly address the decision, Taylor appeared to post a parting message through his Twitter account on Tuesday night.
the most valuable and heart felt experiences are the ones off the field ; knowing that you have impacted a chiIds/ someone life is most important to me. I will always love my fans base and thank you for your love and support during this journey. #GoBlue pic.twitter.com/QPnRoOnHmc

Taylor is a former 3-star recruit and was a member of Michigan’s 2017 class. Due to the depth and talent in the backfield in Ann Arbor, Taylor didn’t see any playing time for the Wolverines.
Michigan has now lost three players to transfer over the last month. Linebacker Drew Singleton and offensive lineman James Hudson have also left the program.
