Michigan has reportedly found its new strength and conditioning coach.

Saturday afternoon, Sam Webb of 247Sports and Football Scoop reported that Ben Herbert would be the new strength coach for the Wolverines. Herbert was previously on Bret Bielema’s staff at Wisconsin and Arkansas.

Herbert was on Wisconsin’s staff for 11 seasons before heading to Arkansas. He was not retained as the Razorbacks made a coaching change following the 2017 season.

Michigan was in need of a new strength coach after moving on from Kevin Tolbert, who had been with the program since Jim Harbaugh’s arrival in 2015.
