The University of Michigan’s athletic department has reported additional positive tests for COVID-19.

On Friday, the school released the results of its most latest round of testing. According to Michigan, the athletic department administered 435 tests between Aug. 1 and Aug. 7, receiving six positive results. That brings Michigan’s total to 35 positive tests since testing began.

The school has administered 1,440 total screenings with 35 positive cases. There have been 1,168 tests conducted on student-athletes with 34 positive tests. 272 tests have been administered among staff with only one positive result.

Michigan has regularly updated its results from COVID-19 screenings since student-athletes began returning to campus.

There are 18 competitive sports teams with student-athletes on campus in Ann Arbor.
