According to 247Sports, Harrell ranks as the No. 303 overall player in the 2020 class, but is the 13th-best defensive end. A native of Tampa, he’s also listed as the No. 52 player from the state of Florida.
Harrell is a 6-foot-4, 235-pound weak-side defensive end who received plenty of attention on the recruiting trail. He received 23 offers, but chose Michigan over schools like Florida State, Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Penn State and others.
With his commitment, Michigan sits at No. 2 in the B1G rankings and 12th nationally for the 2020 class.
