Michigan and Michigan State is one of college football’s most historic rivalries, and this year, Michigan will make sure it has the best home-field advantage it can get against the Spartans.

It was announced Tuesday that Michigan will provide its fans with maize pom-poms for the night game against Michigan State on Oct. 29 in hopes to excite fans to keep their cheering up all game.

Though Michigan controls the series all-time 71-38-5, Michigan State has had the upper hand in recent years, winning the last two contests.

Things should go differently for Michigan this year, as the two teams have had completely different seasons. Michigan has dominated its competition, while Michigan State has struggled all season.
