Michigan has announced the date for its annual Military Appreciation Game.

Saturday, Sept. 7 will be the date the Wolverines will host the Military Appreciation Game at Michigan Stadium. Appropriately, UM will host Army that day.

To show support for the men and women in the military, fans may purchase a ticket that can be donated to a current or former service member. The University of Michigan will match the ticket total for the first 250 tickets purchased and donated to military members.

From MGoBlue.com:

Michigan Athletics and Toyota are proud to partner to celebrate our veterans and the men and women of the armed forces. On September 7, Michigan Football will host Army (West Point) in our annual Military Appreciation Game. Prior to and during the game, Michigan Athletics and our fans will recognize and honor the men and women of our military who have served, or are serving, our country. Fans can show their support by purchasing tickets to be donated to current and former members of the military through the #MGoTroops program. Toyota, a loyal corporate partner of Michigan Athletics, will match the first 250 tickets donated by fans for this initiative.

Last year, over 1,500 tickets were donated to current and former members of the military.
