The state of Georgia has produced a ton of top high school talent in recent years, giving the Georgia Bulldogs a huge recruiting advantage.

However, on Wednesday, coach Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines headed south to land a commitment from a prized 2019 offensive tackle.

Per Rivals.com, 4-star Georgia OT Trente Jones has decided to commit to the Wolverines. In a report by Rivals, Jones said he just felt right when he visited Ann Arbor:

“Michigan is the perfect fit for me. I love the atmosphere and I can honestly say that this is the first school that I felt at home,” he said. “The environment was family friendly and I felt as if I could talk to anyone. It was just like home.”

According to the 247Sports composite, Jones is the No. 36 offensive tackle in the class of 2019 and the No. 36 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

The Wolverines now have five players in their 2019 class, three of which are 4-star players and one of which is a 5-star athlete.
