Michigan’s having a pretty good year.

The Wolverines are in the AP Top 25 and have found a top running back in Blake Corum. Now, they have a top-5 NFL prospect on defense.

Senior edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson’s name came up on Pro Football Focus’ top 100 NFL prospects Friday morning. He’s the highest-ranked B1G player on the list and sits behind 2 SEC players, consensus top pick Kayvon Thibodeaux and Notre Dame linebacker Kyle Hamilton.

Hutchinson is having a breakout year for Michigan this season, tying for the B1G lead with 4 sacks. He also sits third in the league with 4.5 tackles for loss through 3 games and has been named B1G Defensive Player of the Week twice already this year.

We’ll see how his draft stock improves as No. 19 Michigan continues through its schedule, starting with a B1G matchup against Rutgers this week at The Big House.
