Michigan center Hunter Dickinson isn’t holding back after this latest win.

Following the Wolverines’ 92-87 win over Ohio State on Sunday, Dickinson responded to a Doug Gottlieb tweet from earlier in the day. Gottlieb doubted whether or not Michigan could hang with Ohio State.

Dickinson was outstanding in the win, producing 22 points and nine rebounds. Overall, he was a +10 in 29 minutes. He also had two assists, two blocks and one steal.

To his credit, Gottlieb owned up to getting this one wrong.

Dickinson also addressed the lack of general belief in this Michigan team during his postgame press conference.

“One way or another, they’re gonna have to realize who we are and what we’re about,” Dickinson said.

Michigan is now 16-1 on the season and suddenly ranked No. 3 in the nation according to KenPom. The Wolverines battled a lengthy hiatus due to COVID-19, but have since won three straight games — including two vs. ranked opponents — since their return.

The Wolverines still have a couple tough games on the schedule, including one vs. Iowa on Thursday. They also host Illinois on March 2. But at this point, Michigan seems like a lock to be a No. 1 seed this March.

Selection Sunday is on March 14.
