Michigan sweeps weekly award with performances by Hassan Haskins, Aidan Hutchinson
Michigan is rolling into the B1G Championship Game, and the accolades keep pouring in for the Wolverines after an incredible performance. During The Game vs. Ohio State, Michigan rolled up 42 points while keeping Ohio State’s offense off-balance.
Defensively, Aidan Hutchinson turned in a monster performance with 15 QB pressures. He cashed in on those pressures with 3 sacks, setting Michigan’s single-season sacks record in the process.
Offensively, Hassan Haskins churned up the yards and touchdowns behind a dominant offensive line effort. Haskins finished with 169 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns, tying Michigan’s record for rushing touchdowns in a game.
Hutchinson netted PFF’s Defensive Player of the Week for his strong work, and he added another national award Sunday afternoon. This time, Haskins joined Hutchinson as the duo swept the Walter Camp National Player of the Week awards.
