Michigan will be having a “Maize Out” when Penn State comes to town where Michigan fans wear all yellow to support the Wolverines. Whether or not the program brings back the all-maize uniforms is something still up for debate, but marketing materials for the game against Penn State did feature the combination.

Take a look:

Maize outs have been a success for the Wolverines in the past. Last year, Michigan faced Washington in a thrilling matchup, thumping the Huskies 31-10. The Wolverines pulled off a win with over 110,000 fans cheering them on, dressed in maize.

The Penn State Nittany Lions will bring some white into Michigan Stadium, along with their No. 14 ranking, looking to defeat the Wolverines at home. Color-outs haven’t affected the Lions’ play, as the Michigan game will be the Lions’ third consecutive road monochromatic stadium.

Penn State defeated Purdue during a “Black Out” in Week 1, and was unbothered by Auburn’s Orange Out in Week 3, defeating the Tigers 41-12.

We’ll see if the Maize Out gives the Wolverines enough to defeat Penn State.
