Tragedy struck a Michigan high school this week, and the Wolverines are taking the opportunity Saturday to honor that community.
The logo will represent Oxford High School and the lives lost in a deadly shooting on Tuesday:
“The shape is of Oxford’s ‘Block O’, meant to honor all victims, survivors, and community members,” Michigan announced in a release.
“The ‘TM’ and ’42’ pay tribute to football player Tate Myre. Tate, Hana St. Juliana, Madisyn Baldwin, and Justin Shilling, whose lives were senselessly lost this week, are represented by four blue hearts.”
