Michigan updates results from most recent COVID-19 screenings

Michigan has released the latest results from its COVID-19 screenings among student-athletes, coaches and staff who have returned to campus in Ann Arbor.

The latest round of tests includes 276 screenings that were administered between July 24 and July 31. Of that total, the school has received nine positive tests.

In total, the University of Michigan has administered 1,005 COVID-19 tests and has received positive results on 29. Breaking it down further,  820 student-athlete tests have been administered, with 28 positives. There have been 185 coach and staff tests conducted, with only one positive result.

Currently, Michigan has student-athletes on campus for the following sports:

  • Football
  • Men’s & Women’s Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Field Hockey
  • Men’s & Women’s Soccer
  • Ice Hockey
  • Men’s & Women’s Gymnastics
  • Wrestling
  • Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving
  • Men’s & Women’s Track & Field
  • Rowing
  • Baseball
  • Softball
