Michigan WR carted off after injury vs. Indiana
Michigan was already up against it on Saturday before the game even started, facing undefeated Indiana in Bloomington on national TV. Then the game started and things really got painful, especially for one particular player.
Senior wide receiver CJ Charleston was injured while in punt coverage during the 1st half. He was down on the field at Memorial Stadium and had to be carted off, which is never a good sign.
Charleston couldn’t put any weight on his right leg as he was helped up. His teammates could see how serious the injury potentially was, as the entire Michigan wide receivers room came onto the field to console Charleston.
CJ Charleston down on the field. Cart coming out.
He's helped up but can't put any weight on his right leg. The entire WR room has come onto the field to console him. That's a tough scene for the Youngstown State transfer, in his final year of eligibility.

Charleston is a transfer from Youngstown State and is in his final year of eligibility. He only had 1 catch for 22 yards this season going into Saturday’s game, and that 1 catch came way back in Week 2 in Michigan’s home loss to Texas that was the beginning of the end for the Wolverines in terms of trying to defend their national championship.
Michigan trailed Indiana, 14-3, midway through the 2nd quarter, as the Hoosiers try to get to 10-0 and knock the 5-4 Wolverines back to .500 in a season that has gone awry after winning their first national title since 1997.
