One Michigan wide receiver and a former 4-star prospect is opting for the transfer portal.

According to Chris Hummer and Matt Zenitz with 247 Sports, wide receiver Darrius Clemons has entered the portal. Clemons was a key wide receiver in the 2022 recruiting class but never carved out a big role in Ann Arbor.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, Clemons was the No. 24 WR in the nation per the 247 Sports Composite. He was also the top player out of Oregon for the cycle who eventually signed with Jim Harbaugh’s program over the Ducks and others.

Unfortunately, Clemons’ usage at Michigan was limited. He produced just 4 total catches for 40 yards with the Wolverines. He joins fellow receiver and key special teams contributor Jake Thaw as Michigan players looking toward the portal following the conclusion of the national championship.
