Michigan’s offense just received a big boost for 2020!

Nico Collins, one of Michigan’s biggest deep threats and second-leading receiver for the season, announced on Twitter that he will return to Ann Arbor for his senior season. Collings finished second on the Wolverines in catches (37) and receiving yards (729) to Ronnie Bell, but Collins did lead the team with seven receiving touchdowns.

Collins indicated he is excited for the opportunity and will work “to progressively evolve my craft” while also working toward finishing his degree:

With Donovan Peoples-Jones entering the draft and Tarik Black in the transfer portal, Collins will add depth to an offense in flux heading into 2020. Michigan will be losing starting quarterback Shea Patterson. However, the team will also be returning key backs Zach Charbonnet and Hassan Haskins, along with young receivers in Bell and Giles Jackson.

Hopefully, Collins can be a veteran leader and help the team take a step forward next season.
