Michigan wide receiver Nico Collins hit a career milestone during Saturday’s 45-14 win over Notre Dame.

Collins finished the day with one catch for 16 yards and a touchdown in the victory, but that yardage total was enough to put him over 1,000 yards for his career. He entered Saturday’s game with 990 receiving yards through his first three seasons. His career total now sits at 1,006 yards.

Collins has played in seven games this season, catching 20 passes for 374 yards and three touchdowns. He’s had at least one catch in all seven appearances this year.

Last season, Collins had the best year of his career, totaling 632 yards and six touchdowns on 38 receptions. In his freshman season, he caught three passes for 27 yards.

With four games still remaining on the schedule, Collins has a shot to potentially surpass last season’s career-high mark, but he’ll need some big outings to do so.

Michigan travels to Maryland on Saturday.
