Michigan sophomore wide receiver Ronnie Bell is getting ready Saturday as if he is going to play.

According to MLive.com beat writer Aaron McMann, Bell was on the field in uniform and going through pre-game warmups Saturday morning.

Bell suffered an injury last week against Notre Dame and his status going into Saturday was unclear. He leads Michigan with 26 catches and 452 receiving yards this season. Last Saturday versus the Fighting Irish, Bell caught only one pass for nine yards, but the Wolverines still won, 45-14.

While he’s still waiting to catch his first touchdown of the year, Bell is clearly one of quarterback Shea Patterson’s favorite targets, especially down the field. Having him ready to go against Maryland will be a huge boost for the Wolverines.
