Michigan's Aidan Hutchinson, David Ojabo among Power 5 leaders in key PFF stat
Despite dropping the annual battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy, No. 9 Michigan still has plenty of reasons for holding their heads high.
Along with remaining in the top-10 of the AP Poll, the Michigan defense features a pair of players that may just end up making program history in defensive ends Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo.
The pair currently ranks in the top-5 in PFF College’s ranking of the Power 5 edge rushers.

But if that isn’t enough, they both are actually on track to reach an in-house record for single-season sacks.
Ojabo leads the Wolverines with a total of seven sacks on the season, while Hutchinson is right on his heels with 6.5 sacks. The current Michigan single-season sack record belongs to both David Bowens (1996) and LaMarr Woodley (2006). Both ended their respective seasons reaching a total of 12 sacks.
Michigan has at least five more games to be played in the 2020 season. If the first half of the season is any indicator, that single-season sack record is certainly within reach for both.
The Wolverines host Indiana on Saturday, Nov. 6 with a 6:30 PM kickoff.
