No one could have predicted this kind of blowout from a top-1o showdown, but No. 7 Michigan is absolutely steamrolling No. 9 Wisconsin in Ann Arbor.

On Tuesday, the Badgers tipped off against the Wolverines, looking to hand Juwan Howard’s squad their first loss of the season. So far, Michigan is 5-0 in league play and has the early lead in the B1G standings.

That is not going to change after Tuesday’s game with the Wolverines putting on an incredible display to end the first half and begin the second. After ending the half with an 18-point lead, Michigan pushed the pedal even harder the second half as the team put together a 43-6 run that spanned parts of both halves.

Chaundee Brown put an exclamation point on the push with this emphatic putback jam:

The Wolverines rolled all the way to a 40-point lead with the score at 69-29 with 10:47 left in the game. Wisconsin has since cut the lead back down inside of 30 points, but it is too little too late for the Badgers.

All of this came after the Badgers had cut the lead to three points in the first half:

There’s still a long way to go in the conference race, and Michigan still has yet to face Illinois or Iowa this season. Still, the Wolverines will be in the driver’s seat moving forward.
