Former Michigan point guard Devante’ Jones has signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder and will play in the NBA Summer League.

The news, first reported by MLive Sports, was released Wednesday afternoon. Jones, a 5-year standout in college, averaged 10.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists on a Michigan team that advanced to the Sweet 16 last season.

Oklahoma City will play in the Salt Lake City pod of Summer League, which starts on July 5. The Thunder will play 3 games against the Memphis Grizzlies, Utah Jazz and Philidelphia 76ers.

Jones starred at Coastal Carolina before transferring to Michigan as a graduate in 2021. He starred alongside Frankie Collins as Michigan’s primary ballhandler.

Jones started every game of the season until the NCAA Tournament, where he missed Game 1 against Colorado State before returning to knock off No. 3 seed Tennessee. Michigan fell to Villanova in the round of 16.
