Michigan's Hunter Dickinson calls out Texas Tech head coach Mark Adams over Terrence Shannon's transfer
Illinois men’s basketball landed a transfer commit from Texas Tech Terrence guard Shannon Jr. on Friday. However, Michigan center Hunter Dickinson is alleging that there was some foul play in the recruiting process.
Dickinson claims that Shannon was leaning towards Michigan, but that Adams didn’t let Shannon take summer classes in Ann Arbor so that he could enroll there per Riley Gates of 247Sports.
Here are the posts that Dickinson made from his Twitter account. They have now been deleted from the account.
Aaaaand someone got to Dickinson REAL quick. What we have here is one of the biggest stars in CBB calling out the HC at TTU for allegedly hindering Terrence Shannon Jr. from being able to easily transfer to Michigan. Instead, Shannon just committed to U-M’s rival, Illinois. pic.twitter.com/LmQh0SNebn

Shannon is listed as a 4-star guard per the 247Sports Composite. He attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida for high school. He averaged 10.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2 assists for the Red Raiders this past season.
It’ll be interesting to see if Adams comments on the allegations made by Dickinson in the coming days.
