Michigan's Mason Graham, Kenneth Grant duo dominates PFF DT grades for Week 14
Michigan got the upset of the weekend in college football when the Wolverines stunned Ohio State, 13-10 in Columbus on Saturday. The Wolverines entered that game as nearly a 21-point underdog, while the Buckeyes were 1 win away from playing in the B1G Championship.
The Wolverines offense once again struggled, but it was the incredible performance by the Michigan defense that helped propel the team to the win. Leading the way for that unit was the defensive tackle combination of Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant, who both made it very difficult for Ohio State to do anything offensively.
Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades players every week during the college football season, and the Wolverines defensive line duo received high grades for the game against Ohio State. In fact, they took home the highest PFF grades among Power 4 DTs across Week 14.

Graham finished the game with 7 tackles, while Grant finished with 4. However, those stats don’t do justice for how great these 2 players were. Ohio State finished the game with 26 carries for just 77 rushing yards. The Buckeyes entered the game averaging 177.5 yards per game with 24 touchdowns.
Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson are as good as any running back duo as there is in college football, but they were held to 67 yards on 22 carries.
Graham is looked at as a potential top 5 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, while Grant is also looked at as a potential first-round pick. Despite some of the struggles for the Wolverines this year, these 2 have been great all year and capped it off with a performance for the ages against their biggest rival.
