Michigan dominated in a way few expected vs. Ohio State, and one legendary coach took notice of the performance.

In The Game vs. the Buckeyes, the Wolverines racked up 297 rushing yards with Hassan Haskins leading the charge. That total came on 41 carries, which comes out to an eye-popping 7.2 YPC.

In the second half, Michigan scored touchdowns on 4 straight drives. Those drives covered 81, 78, 66, and 63 yards with Haskins scoring a rushing touchdown to finish each one. It was a brilliantly efficient and controlling effort by the offense.

During Sunday’s teleconference to preview the B1G Championship Game, head coach Jim Harbaugh said legendary NFL coach John Madden texted him about the performance. According to Harbaugh, Madden called it one of the best o-line performances he’s ever seen.

Harbaugh also said he sent the incredible review to O-line Coach Sherrone Moore:

Now, it’s up to the Wolverines to regroup and refocus with a shot to duplicate the outing vs. Iowa in Indianapolis.
