Michigan's offensive line is producing at elite level in key categories again in 2023
Michigan has established itself as a favorite to reach the College Football Playoff, and it’s due in large part to its dominant offensive line.
Heading into Week 7, the Wolverines currently lead the country in tackles for loss allowed and are 2nd in sacks allowed. The strong play of the offensive front has led to quarterback JJ McCarthy posting 1,290 passing yards already and the running back group reaching 1,111 yards on the season.

Michigan has also dominated each of its games so far this year, posting 37.3 points per game.
Michigan has won each of the last 2 Joe Moore Awards, which is an award given to the best offensive line unit every year. With the way they are playing now, it won’t be a surprise to see the Wolverines take home that award again this season.
This week, Michigan will look to stay undefeated as it takes on Indiana at home. The Wolverines are nearing a tough November slate, so they’ll be looking to make the last of their tuneups over the course of the next few weeks.
