In Week 6, Hart reportedly suffered a seizure while Michigan was taking on Indiana on the road. He was immediately rushed to the hospital in Bloomington and returned to Ann Arbor with the expectation of coaching his running backs and offensive players when Michigan hosted Penn State.
Hart is in his second season as the running backs coach for the Wolverines and his first as the run game coordinator. He played for four years at Michigan as a running back and was selected as a three-time first-team All-B1G selection.
After three seasons in the NFL, he immediately turned to coach from 2011 to 2020 at schools like Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Syracuse, and Indiana before arriving at Michigan in 2021.
