Mike Morris knows that he had some big shoes to fill this season. Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo are now in the NFL and Morris talked about what it was like filling in for them.

Hutchinson now plays for he Detroit Lions, while Ojabo is on the Baltimore Ravens. Morris was announced on the B1G DL of the Year on Tuesday and talked about the pressure of replacing players like that.

“There was so much pressure, I’m not gonna lie to you,” said Morris. “Just being Aidan’s backup last year. Then Aidan and Ojabo both going like potential first rounders if Ojabo doesn’t get hurt. I have to be the next guy up.”

Morris finished the regular season with 11 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, and 21 total tackles. Morris will continue to man the defensive line as Michigan takes on Purdue Saturday.

Michigan and Purdue meet in the B1G title game at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
