Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen attempts to troll Michigan

Jim Harbaugh can add Dan Mullen to his SEC-coach hit list.

The Mississippi State coach was with Harbaugh in Mississippi for a satellite camp on Wednesday and he couldn’t help but take a little shot at Michigan.

Mullen decided to bring up the Gator Bowl from the Rich Rodriguez era. That game, of course, saw Mullen’s Mississippi State squad roll past Michigan 52-14.

Rodriguez’s final game was Michigan’s worst bowl loss in school history. Fittingly, the coach with the worst record ever for a UM coach was fired afterwards.

So Mullen didn’t really take a shot at Harbaugh. He, of course, had no part in that game. But interesting it is that Mullen felt compelled to mention Harbaugh, who obviously hasn’t been afraid to fire back at an SEC coach.

In other words, brace yourself for some sort of response from Harbaugh.
