Between practices, recruiting, spring ball, film study and the other little things college football coaches have to do throughout the year, getting in a regular workout can be a chore. Leave it to Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh to figure out a way to squeeze in a quick day at the gym.

While on a recruiting visit in Florida, Harbaugh took advantage of the Jesuit High School weight room in Tampa. In a dress shirt, nice pair of slacks and some comfortable tennis shoes, the Michigan leader and B1G champion hit the squat rack.

The school’s Twitter account published a photo of Harbaugh hitting the weight rack. So, this is evidence that he never skips leg day, even when on the recruiting trail.

That’s a pretty unique story itself. Not to worry, there’s still a little Michigan-Ohio State talk to address.

According to Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times, Jesuit’s JV football coach — who graduated from Ohio State — jokingly stated that Ryan Day had arrived at the school and cranked out 16 reps on the squat rack after Harbaugh totaled 15.

Harbaugh then proceeded to churn out 5 more reps, surpassing that fictional 16-rep total from Day. Mark that up as another victory for Michigan over Ohio State this year.
