Go ahead, try it.

Head to MGoBlue.com and try to find Michigan’s 2017 football roster. You can search all you want, but all you’ll find are the players from last year’s 2016 team. Jim Harbaugh wins again.

But the Wolverines head coach wasn’t didn’t go unchallenged. One news site, NJ.com, really wanted Michigan’s updated roster. So they filed a public records request to try and get it.

Yeah, that’s not something you see every day.

The website posted an article, explaining why it filed the request, explaining that it was trying to get information for an article about the 15 best players from New Jersey on B1G rosters.

In an effort to rank the 15 best New Jersey players in the Big Ten in 2017, NJ Advance Media contacted a Michigan official asking for an updated roster. Michigan is believed to have eight New Jerseyans on its roster, though nobody knows for sure.

NJ Advanced Media requested to have response within five days, but it was told it would not receive a response until Aug. 25. Michigan’s first game is Sept. 2 against Florida.

According to NJ.com, Michigan is the only B1G school to not have an updated roster for its football team.

Chalk another victory up to Harbaugh and his unusual tactics.
