Nico Collins definitely didn’t think he deserved to be flagged for offensive pass interference against Penn State.

In a hard-fought, one-score loss on the road, every play proves to be vital. That was definitely the case Saturday night in Happy Valley, and more than a few plays went against Michigan early on.

One play in particular that drew the ire of fans was an offensive pass interference call on Collins. There definitely appeared to be a lot of back-and-forth on the play between Collins and the defender, but the flag ultimately went against the Wolverines.

On Tuesday, Collins was asked about the controversial call. He admitted that he felt like it was a terrible call, but Collins also understands there’s nothing that can be done about it:

“I felt like it was a terrible call,” explained Collins. “We were both competing for it, and I ended up with it, but it was on me. It is what it is. Can’t do anything about it.”
