Nico Collins has massive Week 2 performance for Texans
Nico Collins has quickly developed into C.J. Stroud’s No. 1 receiving option with the Houston Texans.
While the Texans are 0-2 following a 31-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, it was certainly not due to a lack of trying on the part of Stroud, who threw for 384 yards and 2 touchdowns vs. 0 interceptions.
Collins was the recipient of the 1st of those 2 touchdowns, the 1st scoring pass of Stroud’s NFL career:

Collins had a monster performance, making 7 catches for 146 yards. In Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens, he had 6 catches for 80 yards. In 2022, he had 37 catches for 481 yards in 10 games.
Now, with Brandin Cooks with the Dallas Cowboys, Collins is looking to prove that he can be the Texans’ top receiver. So far, despite the 0-2 start, he is making a strong early first impression.
Meanwhile, the Texans will look to avoid an 0-3 start to the season. They travel to face the Jaguars in a week 3 matchup, with kickoff on Sept. 24 set for 1 p.m. ET.
