When No. 10 Michigan State and No. 7 Michigan go head to head on Sunday, the lead for the B1G will be on the line.

Michigan recorded a 69-60 road victory over Minnesota on Thursday night, improving to 13-3 in conference play. The Wolverines are now tied with Michigan State atop the standings, and both hold a half-game lead over Purdue.

Three Wolverines scored in double figures in Thursday’s win, led by Jordan Poole who posted a game-high 22 points. Jon Teske added 17 points and Ignas Brazdeikis pitched in with 10.

Michigan took a 9-6 lead with 15:29 left in the first half, thanks to a three-pointer from Poole. The Wolverines never relinquished the lead after that point. UM also converted on nearly 50 percent of its shots from distance in the game, converting on 13-of-28 attempts.

With the victory, Michigan is now 24-3 on the season. The Wolverines host Michigan State on Sunday at Crisler Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. on CBS.
