Michigan enters Saturday’s rivalry game looking for a bit of revenge over Michigan State.

The Wolverines entered the rivalry ranked No. 7 in 2017 and rolling right along. Then the Spartans jumped out to a 14-3 and held on in nasty weather for a 14-10 win over their in-state rivals.

Believe it or not, the setting will be quite similar coming into the 2018 matchup. Michigan is ranked No. 6 while Michigan State is ranked No. 24 and still looking to put a run of consistent football together.

The Wolverines will enter Saturday’s game as a touchdown favorite over the Spartans, but recent history tells us the game will be close. Additionally, Michigan State is 2-1 against Jim Harbaugh and 8-2 in the last 10 meetings against Michigan.

Regardless of the matchup and the recent history, it still looks like Michigan is favored to win this game by a solid margin. OddsShark released a computer score prediction for the game, and it had the Wolverines winning and covering the seven-point spread by a score of 29.2-20.4 over the Spartans.

Predictions are one thing. Can Michigan pull it off on the field? Kickoff is set for 12 pm EST on FOX.
