On second thought: Ex-Michigan DB wins NCAA appeal, granted immediate eligibility at Georgia Tech
The NCAA has granted another former Wolverine immediate eligibility at his new institution.
On Wednesday, Georgia Tech announced that former Michigan defensive back Myles Sims has won his appeal and has been granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA. Sims decided to transfer to Georgia Tech after redshirting last season at Michigan.
Initially, the NCAA denied Sims’ immediate eligibility waiver. He had the opportunity to appeal the decision, which ultimately paid off.
