It’s becoming a yearly tradition for Donovan Peoples-Jones, not just scoring a touchdown against Michigan State, but posing in unique fashion after a big score.

Last year, Peoples-Jones went viral after reaching the end zone on a 79-yard bomb from Shea Patterson in East Lansing, giving the Wolverines a 14-7 lead over the Spartans. After the huge play, Peoples-Jones hit MSU with a Paul Bunyan Trophy pose:

This weekend, Peoples-Jones hit the Spartans again with the Paul Bunyan pose.

In the third quarter of the rivalry game, Peoples-Jones scored on an 18-yard pass from Patterson to give Michigan a 24-7 advantage. After diving into the end zone for the score, Peoples-Jones resorted to his old celebration from a year ago.

Michigan is now 2-0 in games when Peoples-Jones strikes the pose. Coincidence?

The Wolverines have beaten the Spartans in back-to-back seasons and are now 8-2 on the year with games against Indiana and Ohio State remaining. Michigan is playing some of its best football at the right time.
