No. 2 Michigan is in a tough battle with No. 3 TCU in the 2022 VRBO Fiest Bowl where the winner will go on to play in the national championship.

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has a long way to go to ensure his team can play in the national title game. His collegiate teams, however, have never overcome an 18-point deficit at any point during the games.

Michigan is currently down 21-6 as placekicker Jake Moody nailed a 59-yard field goal just before halftime to lower the deficit to 15 points.

The Wolverines have outgained the Horned Frogs in total yards accounting for 221-to-201, but have turned the ball over twice, with one of them being a pick-6. If Michigan completes a comeback, it would be the largest comeback in the College Football Playoff.

The only time that Harbaugh completed an 18-point+ comeback was as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers in the 24-23 road win over the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011. The 49ers were down 23-3 early in the third quarter.
