Twitter hates poor Blake O'Neill
Blake O’Neill was on cloud nine in the first half.
He boomed an 80-yard punt to the Michigan State 1-yard line. It was arguably the greatest punt of all time. The punt was two short of the 82-yard record. It doesn’t get better for the punter.
Then, the worst possible thing of all time happened to O’Neill. All he had to do was punt the ball away in the final 10 seconds and Michigan pulls off a monumental win against Michigan State. But he fumbled the snap and Michigan State scored on a play that will live in infamy in Ann Arbor.
Naturally, the trolls came out and ripped O’Neill.
@blakewoneill What were you thinking dude. Might go down as the worst play in College Football History

@blakewoneill whatever scholarship you're on I hope you lose it, why couldn't you just fall in it instead of trying to punt it Blake. Why.

For the record, while there were tons and tons of people that ripped apart the Michigan punter, there were also plenty that came to his side.
@blakewoneill this will be one of the most trying times of your life.. But in the end.. It's a game. Keep your head up.
