Paul Finebaum has made a career out of overly-passionate college football fans calling into his talk show and raising hell on a daily basis. But one Michigan caller really got under the radio host’s skin on Tuesday.

After Finebaum praised the B1G for having an excellent weekend and saying he believes the conference is in for a promising year, he commented that Michigan hasn’t quite proven anything to him yet, unlike Ohio State and Michigan State, both defeating ranked opponents on Saturday.

And since it’s the Paul Finebaum Show, that comment sparked a dispute between the host and a fan from Michigan.

The maize-and-blue supporter argued that a comparison between Jim Harbaugh and Nick Saban was unfair, stating that Saban walked into a winning program. Shortly after, Finebaum replied by saying, “Is there a more pathetic fan base in America than the University of Michigan? What a whiny and sniveling bunch.”

Michigan has an opportunity to prove something to Finebaum on Saturday when it hosts Penn State to begin B1G play. The Wolverines currently sit at 3-0 and are ranked No. 4 in the AP poll.
