ESPN’s Paul Finebaum is known more for providing SEC football predictions, but on Saturday morning, he weighed in on the Michigan-Penn State matchup.

On SportsCenter just before College GameDay, Finebaum picked Penn State to knock off Michigan in Week 8.

“The White Out is the best scene in college football,” Finebaum said. “I know because a Buckeye fan told me that last year. Michigan is going to fight hard, but they are going to go down, and the Jim Harbaugh debacle tour continues. Penn State wins a HUGE one tonight.”

The Wolverines are 4-1 in their last five meetings against the Nittany Lions, but the last time Michigan visited Happy Valley, it was a Penn State rout, 42-13. Michigan owns the all-time series, though, 14-8.

No. 7 Penn State enters Week 8 with a perfect 6-0 record. A loss doesn’t necessarily end their playoff hopes, but it would put a huge damper on them, as the Nittany Lions are still searching for respect in most of the polls.

Michigan comes into Week 8 with a 5-1 record, having suffered its one loss on the road against Wisconsin.
