After Michigan lost to rival Michigan State yesterday, a lot of Wolverines fans went to Twitter to humiliate head coach Jim Harbaugh as this was a low point during his tenure. He’s also 2-12 against top-10 teams, has an 0-5 record against Ohio State, and he’s lost four consecutive bowl games as Michigan head coach.

The takes against Harbaugh continued this morning as ESPN’s Paul Finebaum ripped him a new one on Sportscenter. The SEC Network personality took more shots at the Michigan head coach following a 27-24 loss to in-state rival Michigan State.

Michigan was a 24.5-point favorite in the game.

“Hannah, this is not breaking news. This is who Jim Harbaugh is. He gets paid $8M per year. We all act like he’s Nick Saban, but he’s not,” Finebaum said. “He’s a slightly better than average college coach. Anyone who claims he’s an elite coach, it’s just not true at all. I think this is what Michigan wants. They keep supporting him and endorsing him even though he can’t beat Ohio State and struggling to beat his in-state rival (Michigan State). This is what Michigan deserves.”

Some very harsh words from Finebaum there and Michigan will have a big decision to make after this season as he has less than two years left on his deal.

Next up for Harbaugh and the Wolverines is a date with Indiana next Saturday at Noon ET.
