Jabrill Peppers has already earned seemingly every ounce of preseason recognition imaginable.

He was one of 10 B1G players to watch, he earned All-American honors, he was named one of the biggest “freaks” in college football, and he was even put in way-too-early 2017 mock drafts.

Now, Peppers can add “Sports Illustrated cover boy” to that list of accomplishments.

The do-it-all Wolverine was one of four players to earn a spot on Sports Illustrated’s regional covers for its college football preview section.

UCLA’s Josh Rosen, Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and Houston’s Greg Ward Jr. were featured on the other regional covers. The issue comes out this week.

It’s also worth noting that the cover shows Michigan as one of Sports Illustrated’s four teams to make the College Football Playoff.

Peppers will obviously have no shortage of expectations on him. The Wolverines are a preseason top-10 team and one of the favorites to win the national title.

Besides playing a new position, Peppers will also have duties on special teams and on the offensive side of the ball. He and Jourdan Lewis are both expected to be three-way players for the Wolverines.

Just in case Peppers wasn’t known across the country before, the SI cover should certainly solidify that now.
