Onwenu was selected in the sixth round of the NFL Draft by the New England Patriots at 182nd overall. He’s started in all seven games for New England this season and has been one of their biggest bright spots. It’s likely at this point that he will continue to get high praise from PFF throughout the season.
Onwenu was a solid collegiate player, but his grades to start the NFL season have been impressive. Grading out as a top-1o player in the league is no easy feat, especially for a rookie offensive lineman.
The Patriots’ next game comes against the winless New York Jets next Monday night. The game will be at 8:15 p.m. ET and will be shown on ESPN.
