Aidan Hutchinson had his 2020 season cut short by injury, but the star pass rusher for Michigan made his presence felt in his return to action.

During the Week 1 showdown with Western Michigan, Hutchinson was a challenge for the Broncos offense to deal with. He finished with 4 tackles, a sack, a TFL, a forced fumble, and a QB hurry.

When it was all said and done, Pro Football Focus had a high grade for Hutchinson’s work. PFF gave him an overall grade of 93.0 for Week 1, the highest-ranking for a Power 5 edge performer over the weekend.

Hutchinson appeared in just 2 games last season before his season-ending injury. Hopefully, he is able to stay healthy and rebound to the numbers he posted during 2019. That season, Hutchinson appeared in 13 games with 69 tackles, 10 TFL, and 3.5 sacks.

In Week 2, Michigan will square off against Washington. Kickoff is set for 8 pm EST on ABC.
