Michigan owns a halftime lead over Alabama in the Citrus Bowl. Despite many believing the Wolverines were overmatched in the contest, Michigan took a 16-14 advantage into the locker room at half.
Quinn Nordin is a big reason for that.
Through the first 30 minutes of the game, Nordin drilled all three of his field goal attempts against Alabama, accounting for nine of Michigan’s 16 first half points. That includes a 57-yard field goal to close out the second quarter and give Michigan the two-point lead at the break.
