Michigan could have one of the premier defensive linemen in college football back on the field today.
Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press reported that Rashan Gary, who missed the team’s last three games, is dressed for Michigan’s matchup with Penn State. Obviously, we won’t know if the defensive lineman is a go until kickoff, but this appears to be a good sign.
Over the last few weeks, head coach Jim Harbaugh has not given a timeline on Gary’s return or expanded on the extent of his injury. This will be the first time he’s played since September.

The Wolverines’ defense has been sensational even without Gary on the field. His return makes one of the best defensive lines in the country even stronger.
In five games this season, Gary has registered 22 tackles, 4.5 stops for loss and a pair of sacks. He last made an appearance in Michigan’s win over Northwestern on Sept. 29.
Michigan is a perfect 5-0 in B1G play.
